ワシントン州オリンピア出身のロック・バンド Sleater- Kinney がニュー・アルバム Path of Wellness を6/11にリリースする。2019年の前作 The Center Won’t Hold 以来約2年振り10作目のアルバムとなる本作は、ドラマーの Janet Weiss が脱退し Corin Tucker と Carrie Brownstein の2人組となってから初のアルバム。バンドにとって初めてのセルフプロデュース作となり、Mom+Pop からのリリースとなる。
Sleater-Kinney の10枚目のスタジオアルバムは、2020年の夏にオレゴン州ポートランドでレコーディングされた。その背景には、社会不安、壊滅的な山火事、猛烈なパンデミックがあった。このアルバムは、想像上の一体感のための音楽だ。
