Could Have Done Anything は、トロントのシャーロット・コーンフィールドによる5枚目のフルアルバムである。コーンフィールドは、ニューヨーク北部のDreamland Studiosに車を走らせ、プロデューサーのジョシュ・カウフマンとレコーディングを行いった。カウフマンとコーンフィールドは、鳴り響くギターから心地よいピアノ、ハモンドB3、ペダル・スティール、シンセサイザーまで、すべての楽器を自ら演奏した。Could Have Done Anything は、コーンフィールドの尋常ならざる人生とその可能性の証であり、最高のミュージシャンがつかの間の瞬間を時代を超えた歌に変えることができることを認めているのである。
